In less than a week it will once again be time for the ... MetroTimes Hamtramck Blowout! Good times and great memories were had last year. Looking at the line up for this year ... there are a few must sees. Friday, March 4th The Holy Fire - Knights of Columbus @ 11:30p Bang Bang - Knights of Columbus @ 12:45a The Muggs - Paychecks @ 12:45a Saturday Looks Good to Me - Small's @ 12:45a i realize i've got some conflicting interests here ... same problem last year ... its just impossible to take in all the rock that the blowout has to offer ... Saturday, March 5th The Hard Lesson - Knights of Columbus @ 11:30p Detroit City Council - Small's @ 12:45a other bands i wouldn't mind checking out solely based on my interest in their names. Whiskey Diaries Northern Whiskey Syndicate what? ... i like Whiskey! ... Roshambo rock, paper, scissors ... fun for all ages ... The Hummingbirds sounds like school of rock rejects ... Nitro Dynamite napoleon's older, more powerful cousin? ... got skills? ... Teenage Alcoholics makes me think ... girls gone wild, wooo ... it's spring break, wooo ... cheese, it melts, coool ... The Vamps hope their music is more creative than their name ... probably not ... they're an opener ... Also, save yourself some $$$ and buy your Blowout wristband early ... only $10 ...
