huh?

here is an excerpt from an article discussing "The Passion of the Christ" on freep.com . . . again, I'm confused . . . Volunteers passed out tissues to 530 members of Bethesda Christian Church as they gathered for a preview of Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ" at a theater in Sterling Heights. Men and women wiped away tears as they watched their savior savagely tortured by jeering Jewish thugs and Roman soldiers until Jesus was flayed and his sacred blood pooled on the ground. One woman's howls of grief briefly drowned out the movie's thunderous soundtrack. After it was all over on Monday night, the Rev. Analee Dunn, co-pastor of the church, said it will take weeks to help her members understand what they saw. "Many of the people who come into our churches know very little about the Bible," Dunn said.
